Install ActiveSync4.5 and USB driver
A) Download the installation program. http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/en-us/help/synchronize/activesync45.mspx
B) Install Samsung Driver (SAMSUNG_MODEM_4 [1], 34. Zip on Blog)
2. Close Active Sync and back up information needed
Connect to the PC using the USB cable specified. (It is recommended to directly connect to the PC USB port instead of through a USB hub.) If the connection fails, try again after closing all PC firewalls or antivirus programs. If you still have problems with ActiveSync, you can use the help file or visit the Microsoft Web site for troubleshooting. Make sure that ActiveSync connected after finishing data backup. Please connect to ActiveSync, even if a back-up data is not necessary.
- The upgrade will erase all data stored on the device. It is recommended to backup data needed before you start the upgrade.
- This upgrade is only supported when the supplied file online degrees and down to the previous version of the software is not supported. For more information, please contact the Samsung call center.
- Make sure there is no action that could interrupt the upgrade process during the upgrade. (Do not turn off the PC or device, remove the USB cable or connect the application on the PC during the upgrade.)
- The battery must be charged enough to operate the equipment until the upgrade is complete (preferably full).
