Network setup
When connected to a local area network (LAN) through the RJ-45 connector, the projector can be controlled remotely through a Web browser by any of the clients (PCs connected to the LAN) on the LAN. The projector can also be accessed outside the LAN, with a correctly configured firewall.

Cleaning the lens
To clean the lens, complete the following procedure:
1. Apply a non-abrasive camera lens cleaner to a soft, dry cloth. Note: Avoid using an excessive amount of cleaner, and do not apply the cleaner directly to the lens. Abrasive cleaners, solvents or other harsh chemicals might scratch the lens.
2. Lightly wipe the cleaning cloth over the lens in a circular motion. If you do not intend to use the projector immediately, replace the lens cap.

Replacing the projector lamp
The projector lamp should only be replaced with an Lenovo certified replacement part, which you can order from your business partner. Turn off and unplug the projector at least an hour before replacing the lamp to avoid burns. Attention: This product contains a Metal Arc Lamp, which contains Mercury. Dispose of it as required by local ordinances and regulations. The USA restricts or prohibits the disposal of some or all lamps containing mercury in the municipal waste stream. To replace the projector lamp, complete the following procedure:
1. Loosen the captive screw on the lamp compartment cover.
2. Remove the lamp compartment cover.
3. Remove the two screws from the lamp module A .
4. Lift the module handle up B .
5. Pull firmly on the module handle to remove the lamp module, as shown.
6. Reverse steps 1 through 5 to install the new lamp module.

Appendix B. Troubleshooting
The following table provides troubleshooting information for the projector. In some cases, more than one possible solution is provided. Try the solutions in the order they are presented. When the problem is solved, you can skip the additional solutions.

Thermal protector
When the temperature inside the projector becomes abnormally high, the LED indicator flashes red (0.5 seconds on/0.5 seconds off) the Standby indicator is a steady red, and at the same time the temperature protector operates and switches off the power of the projector. If this happens, please follow the steps below:
1. Switch off the power and disconnected the power plug from the wall outlet.
2. Check the temperature of the room. If the projector is being used in a location with a high ambient temperature, set it up in a cooler location.
3. Check the vent openings to make sure that they are all clear. Clean the vent openings if they are obstructed.
4. Wait at least 1 hour until the temperature of the projector drops, then plug it in again.

Installation and configuration support through the Customer Support Center will be withdrawn or made available for a fee, at Lenovo’s discretion, 90 days after the option has been withdrawn from marketing. Additional support offerings, including step-by-step installation assistance, are available for a nominal fee. To assist the technical support representative, have available as much of the following information as possible:
- Option name
- Option number
- Proof of purchase
- Computer manufacturer, model, serial number, and manual
- Exact wording of the error message (if any)
- Description of the problem
- Hardware and software configuration information for your system
- If possible, be at your computer. Your technical support representative might want to walk you through the problem during the call.
