The BMW D7 is a single-cylinder, four stroke, direct injection diesel engine. The engine is equipped with a raw water cooling system, powered by an impeller type pump driven by the crankshaft. Electrical starting and charging systems are standard, as an automatic air bleeder device in the fuel system.
