BlackBerry basics shortcuts
* To move the cursor to roll Trackball.
* To return to screen, press Escape.
* To move a list item or menu item, type the first letter of the item.
* To select or clear the box, press Space.
* To see the available values in a field, press the Alt key.
* To switch applications, hold down the Alt key and press Escape. Continue to hold Alt key and on to outline the application. Release the key Alt.
* To return to the Home screen or applications list, press the end key.
* To switch between the active notification profile and Vibrate notification profile, hold Q.
* To delete the highlighted item, press the Backspace / Delete key.
Phone Commands
* To answer a call, press the Send key.
* To check your voice mail, press and hold 1.
* To send an incoming call to voice mail when the device is inserted into the holster, hold down the Volume Down key.
* To see a list of contacts in the phone application, hold the Send key.
* To set the speed dial to contact the screen at home or in the phone application, hold you would like to set the speed dial.
* To add a phone extension number, press the Alt key and the Enter key X. extension number.
* To write a letter to district, phone number, press the Alt key and the letter.
* To place a plus sign (+) when typing a phone number, press O.
* To turn the microphone during a call, press the speaker. To turn off the microphone during a call, press the loudspeaker again.
* To listen to the call using the wired headset, press the speaker. To stop listening to the conversation with a wired headset, press the loudspeaker again.
* To switch phone numbers in the phone application, click your active phone number. Click the phone number.
Message shortcuts
* To reply to a message, press R.
* To reply to all email or PIN message, press L.
* To forward a message, press F.
* To file a highlighted email message, press I.
* To see the email address for contact, select a contact to or from the field. Press Q. To view the display name, press again Q.
* To move the cursor to the last position after closing and again receive an email or PIN message, press G.
In the message list
* To open a highlighted message, press the enter key.
* To compose a message from the message list, press C.
* To mark a message as opened or closed, press the Alt key and U.
* To view received messages, press the Alt key and I.
* To view sent messages, press the Alt key and O.
* To display messages, voice mail, press the Alt key and V.
* To view SMS text messages, press the Alt key and S.
* To see the call, press the Alt key and P.
* To see all your messages, press Escape.
Movement of the message list
* To move up screen, press the Shift key and the key space.
* To move down a screen, press Space.
* To move to the top of the message list, press T.
* To move to the bottom of the message list, press B.
* To move to the next date, press N.
* To move to the previous date, press P.
* To move to the next unopened item, press U.
* To move to the next related message, press J.
* From To move related to the previous message, press K.
